Pattern Cutting with Emma

During the Easter Holidays, Emma and I spent a few days cutting her materials out. If definately showed me the grand scale of what your final year collection has to be and how professional. I began to grow more nervous for my final year! We carried on talking about it, and her future and although I'm nervous for it all I am extremely excited to start my future.

Elizabeth Shorts in Denim

Roberts Trousers in Denim

Roberts Trousers in Leather.....This design is my favourite! Its very similar to jogpers in the highstreeet at the moment, but more costume inspired.
Roberts Leather Waistcoat

I have never used leather before, so Emma told me some important things about its qualities. Like leather doesn't really have a Straight of Grain, but it does have a strechy direction(because it doesn't have a Straight of grain, it isn't called Weft and Warp)

I am so happy that Emma has asked me to do the things she has, because they were things I wasn't confident in, but now I feel that I am.

Thank you Emma.
