Fingers on the Buzzer.....

I was listening to Youmeatsix's new album "Sinners Never Sleep" the other day, and I couldn't help but notice that they have adapted their style of music. I think that they have been testing effects, and how good do they sound! I still love them even though they have adapted from their last album. It's kind of like fashions and the arts.... the first one to the buzzer! But what if they weren't the first to the buzzer? Mary Quant, who we all know, if you don't she is famously known for the Miniskirt and the designer of the "Swinging Sixties"; but she didnt actually make the first Miniskirt. The Miniskirt was made ahead of its time but in the late 50's early 60's there was the whole Fashion Revoultion, so Miniskirts were the next new thing.

Mary Quant just happened to be tuned-in to her surroundings, so has credit for making the Miniskirt. And did you know that she named the skirt after her favourite car, The Mini....it's also my favourite car....the vintage ones obviously!
This photo reminds me of a fashion exhibition i went to last summer, and one of the girls had taken a photo with a stunning vintage red Mini in the background and her model in her garment-amazing! I couldnt stop looking at it!
